Transverse Axis 1: Dissemination of research – Innovations and developments

This transverse axis is structured around three key areas and draws on research findings across all themes, as well as on the facilities shared between teaching and research. The activities are based on two pillars: (i) the development of innovative approaches to transferring research findings into teaching and to the general public; and (ii) a reflective analysis of research practices within the PPSM. Particular attention is paid to the challenges of the energy transition and sustainable development, and to the observation of laboratory practices. This forms part of the PPSM’s involvement in the Department of Teaching and Research (DER) in Chemistry at ENS Paris-Saclay.

This thematic area provides an ideal platform for establishing collaborations with research teams specialising in pedagogy and science education at Paris-Saclay University, both in France and internationally. It also provides an opportunity to foster interaction between stakeholders working on the various themes of the PPSM, with a view to informing PPSM research (conceptualisation, critical reflection, re-analysis, representation, modelling) and supporting its dissemination through outreach and public engagement initiatives.
