PEPR LUMA

The PEPR LUMA aims to exploit the unique properties of light to explore and control numerous physicochemical and biological systems at the interfaces between physics, chemistry, engineering, life sciences, health, heritage sciences and environmental sciences. A national initiative, it aims to structure and channel the efforts of the French scientific community towards topics with a strong scientific and socio-economic impact, strengthen national research infrastructures at the highest international level and, finally, increase the visibility and influence of this major strategic field.

LUMA is jointly managed by the CEA (represented by Céline Fiorini-Debuisschert, CEA Director of Research) and the CNRS (represented by Rémi Métivier, CNRS Director of Research).
