Theme B: Stimulable Molecules and Materials
This theme encompasses all systems, molecules, or molecular materials whose properties or reactivity can be switched through the action of light, the application of an electric potential, or mechanical stress. The projects under this theme build on the expertise developed at PPSM in the design, synthesis, and study of photochromic, electrofluorochromic, or mechanofluorochromic compounds to advance applications such as photopharmacology or energy storage.
