Synthesis of Nucleo-aminooxy Acids Derivatives

Nucleobase-functionalized peptides have attracted increasing interest because of their well-ordered secondary structures and stability towards enzymatic degradations. We have designed and synthesized nucleoaminooxy acids as novel building blocks of nucleopeptides. Four nucleoaminooxy acid derivatives with cytosine and thymine in the side chain linked by amide or triazole moiety have been synthesized from L-serine.
