Title:
Towards new application of organic semiconductors for optoelectronics
Resume:
Pi-conjugated materials have semiconductive properties allowing the development of new electronics as organic electronics, which first applications are organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), solar cells and organic transistors with field effect. In particular, OLEDs showed great progress these last years, leading to commercial application like smartphone and television screens. In this talk, the researcher will present results about recent progress with OLEDs emitting in near-infrared and semiconductive laser. He will talk about pi-conjugated materials development too, showing hyperbolic dispersion in thin films, and will finaly discuss about the perspectives that such systems offer for organic optoelectronics.
