Ayoub Traverson, EMRS Young Researcher Award 2026

Ayoub Traverson received the Young Researcher Award from the European Materials Research Society, which was presented at the Spring Meeting in May 2026 in Strasbourg.

Ayoub Traverson, currently a PhD student at the Chemistry department and conducting his thesis research at the PPSM on the analysis of the degradation processes affecting the blue gouaches of the painter Henri Matisse, has just received the Young Researcher Award by the European Materials Research Society.

His research is co-supervised by two researchers from the PPSM (Victor Gonzalez and Loïc Bertrand) and by Stéphanie Elarbi at the Centre Pompidou museum.
