Dr Tomoko Inose works in Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (WPI-iCeMS) in Kyoto University (Japan). In her group, she aims to create new technologies that can help solve issues in various fields such as health, environment and agriculture by focusing on the keyword “seeing is believing” and understanding complex unknown phenomena at the nanoscale. In particular, she proposes a new approach utilizing (bio)nanomaterials and microscopy techniques to investigate unknown phenomena that occur in complex environments.
