Céline Jégat is awarded at the beginning of her PhD third year with the best oral communication price during the french swiss photochemistry symposium this January 22 2021, organized by the photochemistry, photophysic and photosciences subdivision of French Society of Chemistry.
She presented the conception and the characterization of a new hybrid material, involving gold nanorods and photochromic compounds (diarylethenes). More specifically, she underlined transient absorption results she got in the context of a collaboration with Pr. Hiroshi Miyasaka (Osaka University, Osaka, Japon), collaboration that allowed this young researcher to spend five weeks in the this global specialist's team (funded by the international reserach project Nanosynergetics).
